I found Silverado Beverly Place Memory Care Community for my mom, and I think the place is excellent. She is doing much better now that she is there, and she is also eating very well now. The philosophy of the facility fitted her very well. The staff all seemed very dedicated in the three times that I've visited since I moved her there.
She never had any issues with skin breakdown. I found the caregivers truly kind and compassionate although they were working with a challenging population. My mother eventually transitioned to Silverado Hospice care and her care was excellent up until her peaceful death. I am very thankful for the care she recieved. Silverado Beverly Place is an excellent and ideal community. The person that runs the place is a very nice, very considerate, and very understanding man.

I would recommend Silverado to anyone I care about. Bringing a loved-one home for hospice is extremely overwhelming. It's also very confusing, and the hospital was no help whatsoever.

When the representatives came to his hospital room the next day, they couldn't have been more compassionate and explanatory. We knew nothing about the process, and they explained everything. These are but a few words to describe my apartment at Westmont Village. The entire apartment is well planed so it is wheelchair or scooter usable in every room, including the bathroom. And closet, cabinet and drawer space is exceptionable.
The dining area was average, and there was nothing spectacular about it. Even though it is a newer facility, it doesn't look well kept. They offer some fun scheduled and planned activities.

I took my husband to the facility for a respite stay of 6 days. He developed a four inch long bed sore on his bum area on the fifth day. I assume because no one turned him at night. I don't think that he had a BM during the entire stay.
They were doing activities, and everybody was participating on a story telling activity. They look like they were really trying with the activities when I went there. But it was still kind of on the dingy side. The staff should greet you as you walk in and ask if you need assistance or have questions.
